Mr. Cohen has worked in criminal law for over 34 years. He spent 20 years as the elected District Attorney for Tehama County. Before that, he worked as a Deputy District Attorney for both Shasta and Tehama counties. He also served as a Federal Prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. Having completed an exemplary career in prosecuting criminal cases, Gregg retired in 2019 and opened Cohen Criminal Law. His criminal defense clients are now what drives and consumes him. He loves to be in a position where he can use his vast criminal law knowledge and skill to truly help people.

Since 2019 he has represented individuals and businesses who have found themselves involved in criminal investigations, grand jury investigations, code violations, misdemeanor and felony case prosecution. Gregg has successfully resolved criminal cases prior to an arrest being made, and of course has handled many, many, post-arrest situations as well.
